The Gotham font was created by GQ magazine. The magazine wanted a clean, modern font that looked bold and masculine for their publication. Gotham has also appeared in other forms of media for business purposes. Gotham has been used in logos for Coca-Cola, TV shows like Maury and Saturday Night Live, the Tribeca Film Festival, and the Georgia Governor’s Office of Customer Service.
You can get a free download of the Gotham Medium Font here. It’s in the TTF (TrueType) Format and you can use it for personal purposes without paying. For commercial use, you need to buy a license.
