Roboto can be seen as having two aspects. It has a metal frame and the shapes are mostly simple and straight. The font also has friendly and open curves. Some fonts change their letter shapes to fit a strict pattern, but Roboto font doesn’t do that. It lets letters have their normal size and shape.
You can get a free download of the Roboto Condensed Font here. It’s in the TTF (TrueType) and OTF (OpenType) Format and you can use it for personal and commercial purposes without paying.
