Simsun is a simplified Chinese typeface with a stroke style similar to a Mincho (serif) typeface. Zhongyi Songti is another name for the font called (中易宋体) [K. Schaefer] in Chinese, also known as 宋体, was the default font used for the menus and buttons in Windows 95 to XP.
It was included in the Chinese versions of Windows 95 to 98, all regions of Windows XP, and Microsoft Office 2000. Microsoft Vista includes the SimSun-ExtB font.
