Trajan is a serif font and its design is inspired by the letter shapes of Roman square capitals, which were used for the writing at the bottom of Trajan’s Column. That’s why the typeface is called “Trajan”. Trajan is a font that only uses capital letters, because the Romans didn’t have lowercase letters.
You can get a free download of Trajan Font here. It’s in the TTF (TrueType) Format and you can use it for personal purposes without paying. For commercial use, you need to buy a license.
